Greetings from the Fields
While we are moving through very uncertain times, we take solace in the rhythm our farm work and the certainties of spring.
As we have done for the past 45 years, we are preparing the fields for early spring plantings of peas, radishes, and carrots. Healthy lambs and kids are frolicking in our pastures. Our piglets, free from their mom for the first time, are starting to roam the farm and dig around the softening soil. Which will be fine until they start digging up the peas.
Every single one of our staff members is still working, some on the farm, some off. Together we remain dedicated to tending to our fields, our animals, and taking care of our organization, and of you, our community members. We will ensure that you have access to fresh and local produce, garden seedlings, cut flowers, honey, and maple syrup, and a bit of normalcy.
With certainty, Natick Community Organic Farm remains a place for you to bring your family, and where you can enjoy all that Spring has to offer. Now more than ever, we welcome you into our farm community. Be well, take care, and check on your neighbors.
Sincerely,
Casey Townsend, Executive Director

PLEASE BE A SAFE VISITOR Wash your hands before and after your visit. (Our outdoor sink is hooked up, and stocked with soap. The composting toilet is also open.) Throw out all wipes or trash directly in the dumpster behind the barn. Keep 6 feet or more away from your fellow visitors and all working staff. Don't touch tools, gates, or animal feeders. Make purchases at the outdoor market stand. The farmhouse is closed to the public.

SPRING PROGRAMS
We are postponing the start of our spring public programs due to COVID-19. As an educational farm, we rely on the income from our public and summer programs. We love having you as a part of our community and will honor any refund requests. If you have the ability, please consider accepting a credit for another program in lieu of a refund, such as Early Drop off Program once school resumes, one of our vacation programs, or a weekend chore class for the whole family. Credits do not expire

My son N. absolutely loves coming to the farm and visiting all of the animals, especially the bunnies and baby piglets - it is such a respite in these strange times. Thanks for all that you do for the community."-
