Featuring Josie!
From Josie's foster family:
About Josie:
Josie is a black and white female pitbull mix, about 3-4 years old and weighs around 30 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Josie already has some important skills under her belt -- she is crate and potty trained and knows some basic commands like sit, down, and paw. She has recall training and has been trained on an e-collar, and she is currently in the six-week obedience course at Dog's Play to beef up her training even further. Her previous owner was an equestrian and occasionally took Josie out to the barn, so she has experience around larger farm animals as well -- a unique bonus! Josie may be best in a home as a single dog, but can possibly get along well with a relaxed/submissive older dog (she has lived with an older relaxed dog in the past without issue). Josie should not, however, live with cats or other free roaming small animals (e.g., rabbits) because she does have a high prey drive towards these animals. Josie can also get excited and may be best in a home with older children and adults. Most importantly, Josie is an incredible dog! She is a loveable snuggle bun but also has plenty of energy to go with you on daily walks and runs (we tried a running leash with her -- she did great!) plus play time.
Josie is looking for a new home due to some personality clashes and escalating resource guarding with another dog in the household. After taking nearly six weeks to introduce her and the existing dog to let them become comfortable around each other, the dogs began resource guarding their humans and their personal space, creating a stressful environment for both animals (and their human caretakers). Josie is a wonderful dog, and deserves to have a comfortable, loving, and relaxing home!

Featuring....Murphy!
🐾 Meet Murphy – Our Dashing Dalmatian on a Mission!
Looking for a loyal sidekick with energy to spare? Meet Murphy, the longest adoptable resident at Dog’s Play — and possibly the most undercover agent in town. 🕵️♂️💥
That’s right — Murphy isn’t just any high-drive Dalmatian. He’s a super-secret spy dog, dedicated to protecting his humans, sniffing out danger (or snacks), and patrolling the backyard like it's a top-level mission. 🤫 (But you didn’t hear that from us!)
Murphy thrives with a confident, active handler who:
🐶 Loves going for daily walks and adventures
🏡 Has room for him to run and burn off that Dalmatian energy
💙 Wants to be loved fiercely and loyally by a devoted dog owner. No children, no other animals around, please.
He’s been waiting patiently for his special someone — maybe it’s you? If you’re not quite ready to adopt, Murphy would also love a foster home where he can stretch his legs and show off his secret agent skills.
💌 Ready to meet this one-of-a-kind pup? Email us at Dog’s Play today to learn more about fostering or adopting Murphy.
Let’s get Murphy his forever home!
