Directions Not Included is a local monthly podcast that features candid conversations for a stronger community. So many of life lessons do not include instructions. FREE admission to the exhibit "Inside Out: Little Microbes and Their Big Impact." This exhibit was designed to lighten the conversation on germs and their role in the world through limited contact activities like the Germ Shooting Range, and a giant Operation Game, as well as the New York Hall of Science’s traveling exhibits that delve into the facts about transmission and prevention.

PROGRAMS:
Fishing @ The Docks
Tuesdays at 4:30-7pm & Saturdays at 10 am - 12:30pm

Staff will be available to share tips and tricks for fishing at the dock by the Visitor Center on Saturdays.

Participation at dock activities does require preregistration, but poles for loan that day will be available to use around other parts of the park. Casting tips, lure kits, prizes & more!

A park permit for parking and Fishing license for 17+ rules do apply.

Archery in the Park
Fridays & Saturday at 4:30 - 6pm

Join our staff for a free archery experience on our range near the Visitor Center. Learn the traditional outdoor skill of archery through fun, safe instruction.

Equipment provided.

Creature Encounter
Sunday at 10 - 11am

Visit staff at the Saginaw Bay Visitor Center and meet some live creatures.

Marsh Walk
Thursdays at 9 am & 10:30 am

Join staff on a walk through the Tobico Marsh and discover the wide variety of wildlife that can be found. Frogs, birds, flowers, and more!

SUNDAYS - Chippewa Nature Center, Midland
**The Chippewa Nature Center is a participant in the STEM Passport. Visit and attend (virtual or in-person) events and receive a $25 gift card courtesy of MiSTEM. 

JULY 12 - 17 - Downtown Midland
This free event allows guests of all ages to test their skills at putting greens located throughout Downtown Midland.

To start playing, pick up a putter, golf ball*, and scorecard* at the “clubhouse” Joyful Tantrum 213 E. Main Street. Scorecards have been generously donated by QRP.

When the round is over, return putters and scorecards to the clubhouse for a chance to win one of eleven (11) fantastic prizes donated by the participating Downtown Midland businesses.

"The Rhythm is Gonna Get You" will be a fun and exciting musical experience! Music on the Move participants will have the opportunity to play different rhythm instruments in a group setting. They will learn to keep a steady beat with drums & tambourines, shake maracas, strum a guitar, find their voice and dance with the music! Music on the Move will be presented by Music for Munchkins, Creator/Vocalist Michele Spitz.
