Dear Friends,
It's incredible how quickly the season flies bye. I've just finished up the last of my calendar events at the New York Golf Park, the US Kids Hudson Valley Tour and the Playground Golf Foundation Tournament. I will still be offering private sessions at the NYGP until Mid October. Now that schools are back in session, I'm thrilled to announce that we have some coaching opportunities for any motivated golf enthusiasts and/or PGA Members.

Job Description:
Teaching golf to children in Columbia, Greene, and Northern Dutchess county schools during gym classes between normal school hours. Coaches will need to be on time to set up prior to the first-period class, help, and support or become the lead coach and help clean up after the last period. $25-50 Per Hour
Children will range from elementary-middle school. The Playground Golf Foundation’s mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
We don’t just teach golf, we teach the core values of respect, honesty, responsibility, sportsmanship, integrity, perseverance, judgment, courtesy, and confidence through golf.
Candidates must have reliable transportation, a positive attitude, and experience coaching or work with children would certainly help.
A typical 4-day program runs Monday-Thursday from 7 am-3 pm with a break for lunch and some class periods off. Sessions will run 1-2 weeks for an entire PE UNIT. We will run the course for 2 weeks straight and take a week off to recharge our coaches and prepare for a new schools setting.
