Congratulations to our PVP Piranhas Swimmers!
The team finished their regular season with their annual end of the year banquet. Good luck to those swimmers who will be competing in the Meet of Champions this weekend. And THANK YOU to our coaches and parent volunteers
who helped make this season a success!
Bernards Library Pop-Up at PVP on August 9
Bernards Township Library staff members will be at Pleasant Valley Pool on August 9 from 2:00-3:00pm to help you discover all that the Library has to offer. Get a library card, check out a book or learn how to download e-books and e-audiobooks. www.bernardslibrary.org
REMINDER: Members who frequently arrive to the pool
without their ID Card may be denied entry!
All members ages 3 and older are required to obtain a membership photo ID card and present it upon each visit to the pool.
Visit the Recreation Office during our regular business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm, to obtain a membership ID card. If you are updating an old ID, bring your current membership ID card to avoid the $10.00 replacement charge. Payment for lost IDs is by cash or check.

Noodle Nights continue on Fridays from 5:15pm-close (no 6pm adult swim). Bring your own Noodle!

Our final Yoga class will be held on Wednesday, August 2 at 11:15am

Join us for a Membership Appreciation Luau on August 6 from 1 - 4pm with games, a DJ, giveaways & more!
Swim Lessons
Swim Lesson registration is open online and in-person at the Recreation office.

The last of our three sessions will begin on August 7th. Lessons are appropriate for members ages 4 - 12 (must be potty trained).

Registration Deadline for Session 3 is August 4 at 4:00pm. Members can now register for more than one session.

General Facility Reminders
Main Pool Reminders
Children using the Main Pool must be toilet trained. Flotation devices, toys, swim fins and snorkel masks are not permitted except otherwise expressly permitted per the Membership Handbook.
Supervision of Children
Children under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult/ chaperone at all times. Chaperones must be 15 years or older and chaperones ages 15-17 may not be solely responsible to supervise more than 5 children at the same time.
Weather Closures
The best way to determine if the facility is open on a cloudy or rainy day is to call us before you visit at 908-647-6244.
Parking Reminder
Parking is permitted in lined spaces, in designated parking lots only. Parking is not permitted on the grass, alongside driveways or on the shoulder of park roads. If the main parking lot is full, please continue on the road into the park and use the additional parking lots on the left. There is a walkway to the pool at the end of the overflow lot, so there is no need to walk along the park roadway.
Prohibited at PVP
Glass, alcohol, smoking/vaping, pets, use of cell phones in pools, prolonged underwater breath holding, rough horseplay and flotation devices other than coast guard approved lifejackets.
All bags and coolers are subject to inspection!
Guest Polices
Each membership is permitted to bring up to 5 guests per day.

Members are required to sign in all guests upon entry and complete all required information on the sign-in sheet, including full guest name and entry time.

Daily Guest Rates
Weekdays: $12/ages 3+
Weekends/Holidays: $15/Ages 3+
Any Day After 4PM : $8/Ages 3+
Under Age 3: Free

Members may pay cash or check at the gate upon arrival or use complimentary or paid guest visit credits loaded to their ID card.

Members must remain with their guests at all times and are responsible for their conduct.
Guest Rain Checks
If the facility closes early, rain checks will be issued to members with guests who were in attendance for less than 3 hours. Cash refunds will not be issued.

Rain Checks must be requested at the pool on the same day the weather event occurred.

  • Rain checks are issued to the member, not the guest, and may only be used by a member to bring a guest.
  • Rain checks will be issued for the type of visit paid and may be used for the type of visit paid or for a visit of lesser value. For example - a "weekend rain check " may be used any day; an "after 4 p.m. rain check" may only be used after 4 p.m."
  • Rain checks expire at the end of the operating season.
Lost items will be held for 7 days only, check the lost & found next time you visit!
Found items may be turned in at the Game Window. Valuables (sunglasses, jewelry, keys, etc.) will be kept through the end of the season. Clothing, towels, toys and other items will be kept in a bin by the front gate and emptied on a weekly basis.
