Hey PBC Family,

We have missed gathering in-person for worship with you.  At this point, we are planning on coming together in-person for worship only on Sunday, June 7th at 10:30am.  We are doing everything we can to create a safe and worshipful environment.  However, it will look a little different than we have been used to.

As we approach June 7th, we will let you know more about the specifics of what it will all look like.  In the meantime, we appreciate your encouragement we have received so far, your prayers and your patience.

If you are not ready to join us in-person just yet, know that we understand and you can still connect with us online.  Our worship service will continue to be live streamed on our website - just go to the  Streaming tab.

PBC LifeGroup Study Available Online
We have added the Capstone LifeGroup study, Joseph - A Man of Integrity & Forgiveness, being taught by Paul Chichester.

The current session, Study #9, can be found on our PBC Derby YouTube Channel or by clicking  HERE.

You can also download the Study Notes Page on our website, or click HERE.

Each Friday a new session will be uploaded to our YouTube Channel - PBC Derby for you to watch.

Hand Made Face Coverings
A few individuals have donated hand sewn cloth masks for those who would like them.

It is important you know that these cloth masks are meant to protect OTHERS in case you are infected. They DO NOT prevent you from contracting CoVid-19.

They are first come, first served. They also come in a variety of styles and we will not guarantee availability of anything specific.

Please email the if you are interested and with the following specifications:

-Child or Adult?
-Male or Female?
-How Many?
-Desired Pick up time?

We ask that you do not come inside the church to get them. We will limit person to person contact by sealing your masks in a closed bag with your name on them. The sealed bags will be placed in a tote just outside the church office door by the mailbox.

There is no cost for the masks. However, many have asked if they could send donations. Donations are appreciated but not necessary. Anything collected from the masks will go to our Operation Christmas Child Fund. Please put "masks" in the memo of your check. T hank you!

For more information regarding the safe use and handling of cloth masks, please visit this CDC link HERE

Disinfecting Supplies Needed
A close-up shot of an open aquamarine push top cap of a disinfectant wet wipes plastic container set on a plain white background. We are trying to create a safe environment as we approach coming together again. Unfortunately, disinfecting wipes (Clorox, Lysol, or the equivalent) are extremely scarce. Thankfully, we are good on hand sanitizer for now.

We are asking all of you to please grab an extra as you come across them during your normal shopping.
You may drop them off during normal church office hours
(M-TH 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).

Thank you for your help!

2020 Reading Plan: Verse of the Week
But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it- the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
Romans 3:21-24 ESV
Now more than ever, is the time to be in God's word. Jump in with us this year and commit to reading through the New Testament! Find our reading plan by clicking HERE.

Featured Free Discipleship Resource
As believers and followers in Christ we are commanded to Love Others as Ourselves. But do you find yourself asking these questions?
  • Amidst the CoVid-19 pandemic, what does loving others & still being engaged with others look like?
  • How can I reach out to my neighbors but still keep them and myself safe?
  • Is there really a difference between social distancing & isolation? Aren't they the same thing?
In this 4 week Bible study, The Art of Neighboring, Jay Pathak & Dave Runyon answer these questions and help you focus on the people who live near you.
