Year End Giving Challenge - Banner.png

Dear Devra,

The end of the year brings with it the season of giving thanks and giving back. It’s a time to reflect on the ups and downs of this crazy year and to appreciate our ability to endure and overcome the many challenges we’ve faced and to look ahead at the changes that are yet to be made.

This year, Environmental Health Trust hit many major milestones.

  • We won our lawsuit against the FCC for its failure to update its 1996 wireless safety limit guidelines based on a review of the latest science.
  • We sent letters to the Biden administration and Congress on critical action steps to protect public health and safety. These include taking immediate action to reduce exposure and to halt the 5G rollout; appoint independent commissioners to the FCC; request a National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine committee review of the science underlying 5G; and identify major data gaps and uncertainties about the economic efficiency of 5G.
  • We released a 170-page report on the FDA’s misleading information; and our report was included in a historic petition to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services requesting that the FDA honestly explain its activity regarding the imminent hazard of wireless radiation.
  • We received the First Slowphone award from Brazil’s Slowphone Campaign and Latin America for Safe Technology.
  • We sent letters to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education and the departments of education in all 50 U.S. states on the need to mitigate wireless in the classroom and develop a national strategy for safer tech at school.
  • EHT’s Theodora Scarato testified to the Oregon Senate Committee on Education and the Oregon Health Policy Board after EHT submitted a 120-page report on corrections needed to the flawed Health Authority Report on Wireless and Health. An exposé was featured in Washington Spectator by reporter Dan Forbes.
  • We screened six films in our Jackson Hole Environmental Health Trust Virtual Film Series. Thousands of people watched the films and participated in our one-to-one interviews with directors and producers.
  • We launched a letter-writing campaign to lawmakers calling on U.S. elected leaders to support the scientists and develop a national strategy on wireless radiation safety.
  • We participated in expert conferences with engineers and pediatric societies in Turkey, Brazil, Cyprus, and Chile.
  • We played a major role in the EMF Medical Conference, educating medical practitioners about the science of electromagnetic illness.
  • We interviewed top scientists and influencers all over the world on our Patreon creators channel.
  • We released new podcasts with leading scientists on EMF and wireless radiation exposure.
  • Devra Davis’ lecture at the University of Melbourne reached nearly 5 million views on YouTube.
  • Dr. Davis was featured on prime time national news and her 47-minute interview with Tucker Carlson is now streaming online.

How do we fight the deep pockets of Big Telecom? We do it with the help of organizations and individuals who care about children, the earth, and our future.

Please make a year-end donation so that EHT can achieve its mission to make the world a safer place by supporting state-of-the-art science on the impacts of technology on our lives.

Sincerely,

Devra Davis PhD, MPH
