I n each newsletter, we will highlight a piece of technology or exciting experience that will be available in the new library.
Tech Feature: 3D PRINTER
Location: Makerspace
A 3D printer uses an additive process to make three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. In an additive process an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the object is created. Each of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced horizontal cross-section of the eventual object.

What's on your Quarantine Reading List?
The MPLF wants to know what books the Medford community has been adding to its reading list and why?
Here are some top picks from the Board!
Say Nothing
Ellen Tonello with granddaughter Claire reading, Go Dogs Go by Dr Seuss.

A book that I would highly recommend is, Say Nothing by Patrick Radden, which I just finished. Barbara Kerr suggested it to me and we both thoroughly enjoyed it.
Snowmen at Night
An honorary board member, Henry, son of MPLF's own Leilani Germain, recommends Snowmen at Night, by Mark and Caralyn Buehner. An exciting book that features an action-packed, interactive format, it answers the long asked question, "just what do snowmen do at night?"
Always Look on the Bright Side of Life
Sarah Palmer, Project Manager for HtSargent. I recommend Eric Idle's Sortabiography for some much needed comic relief during these turbulent times. Much like all of Monty Python, it's the right mixture of insightful, irreverent, and hysterical.

Please clink below and email us your current literary obsession. If possible include a picture and a little blurb! We are excited to hear for you.
