Please HELP! Matching grant offer if Rotary Club meets $10,000 goal in 30 days!
'You're laid off. Sorry.' When coronavirus closed businesses, college students (and their parents) lost jobs.
Here's what the Rotary Club of Cape Coral Goldcoast is doing to help college students who suddenly can't pay for college.
For many college students and parents, the coronavirus has
had a devastating impact on their ability to pay for college.
If all goes well, some fortunate college students will receive a scholarship to help pay their college tuition. They are excited the Rotary Club of Cape Coral Goldcoast in Florida is raising money to make their dreams a reality and help them during difficult times.

The coronavirus pandemic has dramatically changed the students financial circumstances. Parents are worried about having enough money to pay their household bills and having enough money to help pay for their children's college tuition.

About 69% of parents and 55% of students entering college in the fall said the coronavirus has impacted their ability to pay for school, according to a recent poll of 6,500-plus high school seniors and their families by NitroCollege.com.

With so many businesses forced to close, not only are parents across the country suddenly facing extended furloughs or lay-offs, but students have also lost their jobs and their ability to help pay for school.

You can help Rotary Club of Cape Coral Goldcoast continue the dreams of college students by providing scholarships during these unprecedented times.
