For the first time in our lifetimes, supply chains have been front and center in the public’s consciousness…unfortunately these supply chain challenges are due to pandemic, war and climate change. This Securing the Supply Chain Summit event will focus on Building Resilience through Sustainability. Speakers from industry, policy organizations and education will delve into the challenges to the supply chain, how it is changing and what needs to happen in future.

Professional learning conversations (table top discussions on risks/solutions) will be conducted after a call-to-action. The discussion will identify problems and how they might be resolved with key stakeholders to build actions plans toward solutions and create commitments to their implementation.

*The agenda for this summit will be posted soon.

Featuring Keynote Speaker

Phil Palin

Philip J. Palin is one of the world’s leading experts on getting supplies to catastrophe survivors. His focus will be the strategic consequences of climate change to our lives. He will discuss the need for preparation, mitigation and response to upcoming climate catastrophe events such as a Cascadia, or slower-onset extended stress events like El Nino or La Nina, wildland fires, landslides, and floods. Climate impacts close our travel and supply chain year around in Washington.
