On Thursday, April 24, 2025, Cranaleith Spiritual Center celebrated spring and our commitment to the earth with a New Beginnings: Earth Day Art Talk, Tea & Tree event.

We welcomed new and returning faces to our space to collectively 'pour' into Cranaleith, network and learn something new about art, our featured artists and ourselves.

Nikki Benson, our new Director of Marketing and Development, invited everyone to join in a tree watering ceremony as a tangible symbol of their shared commitment to ensure the continued impact and growth of Cranaleith's mission.

We listened to Pennsylvania Artists Catherine (Cathy) Cohen and Jeff Thomsen graciously share the artistic processes they engage in as they create their compositions.

Not just a visual artist but a poet, Cathy brought our program to a close by leading us in a communal poetry process which resulted in a collaborative poem called, "Planting". Once compiled, this work will be shared with the community.

Cathy and Jeff's paintings and books will be on display and for sale in our Conference Center through the end of June. Feel free to stop by to take in this remarkable and refreshing exhibit.

A Retreat for Women Veterans

Like the wildflowers that sing our resilience, we will turn our faces to the light, reflect on the mystery of our stories, and delight in the wisdom and grace we hold together. The day will include insights on the moral injury we know in our experience, and time to be immersed in Cranaleith’s springtime color. Poetry and a simple art exercise will accompany us.

A Retreat for Women's Veterans

Our spacious schedule for the weekend will also include times of worship, as well as time for solitude and recreation. We hope to create an experience that will encourage and inspire you as you walk in God’s call to lead!

Our time together will include listening and experiencing the sounds of the singing bowls, hands on experience, and sharing and connecting with each other and the spirit. The bowls are ancient instruments that produce vibrations that are healing and peaceful...

A New Program!

Our relationship with our mother is the first imprint we receive—the first experience of love, safety, and separation. In this interactive group Family Constellations workshop, we’ll explore the hidden dynamics that shape our relationship with our mothers—and, by extension, with life itself.

In sustained stillness, silt has time to settle and the water becomes clear. Rest can mend the tired mind and weary bones. Like Elijah, you can at last hear God in the still, small whisper. Knowing that others are around you, also in silence, provides a sustaining community. You are invited to a week-long, silent retreat. A daily session with a spiritual director and meals are provided. You will have access to Cranaleith’s lovely campus.
