Johnston Seed Co. Receives Lt. Governor's
Small Business Award of Excellence
On May 1, Lieutenant Governor Todd Lamb hosted the 20th Annual Oklahoma Small Business Day at the Capitol. The event highlights the pivotal role of small businesses in powering Oklahoma's economy. "Through my annual visits to all 77 counties, I know the crucial economic impact our small businesses have on Oklahoma's economy," Lamb said.
Lt. Governor Lamb recognized four companies, including Johnston Seed Company (Enid), with Small Business Awards of Excellence. Joey Meibergen accepted the award on behalf of Johnston Seed.

Meibergen said, “Bermuda grass research and innovation are what we’re known for at Johnston Seed Company.” He attributed the award to the employees and those that are farming to produce the products that they distribute.
