It's that time again for Blue2Green to hold its 2nd Annual Toy Drive. We are a small Toy Drive where this year I have assigned my 7th grader as Project Leader, (it's her turn-Ariela). This year we will be a little different, we are asking for good (USED) small to medium toys for donation. So let those good used toys in those closets, go to areas I know it will make a big difference. (NEW) will work as well, the shelter just ask more for smaller to medium toys, coloring books, books, crayons, ect. You get the point.
Blue2Green puts them back in shape and wraps them up for free. Better yet, there's more, we will even come to your home anywhere, at your convenience to collect them. Last year, we had some very generous customers who came to our drop stations, but this year, we are making it easier for everyone. You can even put them by your front door and we will quietly pick them up on the time we agree.
Our Toy Drive starts this Saturday DEC. 5th, and will end DEC. 23rd. A big Thanks to FX Scissors and 9 Round of Fort Mill (Indianland) for allowing us to station our boxes. They have allowed us to make more smiles to children that live in shelters.
Then, we take them to the Fort Mill Local Shelters, the week of the 24th. Last year, we had two garbage bags, this year our goal is 4 bags.
We appreciate your time and generosity in making a kid smile on such a special day.
Most of you have known, that kids have been my passion from coaching to teaching academically. Being raised by two women in my life, a mom and grandma, you realize and figure out how to do a lot on your own. Those skills have been taught to many kids over a 25 year span to make them more functional and practical in life, especially in shelter environments, and on and off playing fields.
We appreciate anything you may have to offer since toys enhance kid lives in many different ways.
