The California Housing Partnership is pleased to welcome new staff members to our teams in Northern and Southern California.

Housing Finance
TONY KOUOT (LA Office)
Housing Finance Consultant

Tony joins us to provide technical assistance and support to guide nonprofit and government agency affordable housing developments in obtaining funding from an array of federal, state and local competitive programs. He previously worked in project management for Brilliant Corners.
JESSE OZANIAN (Northern CA)
Sr. Housing Finance Consultant

Jesse joins us to provide technical assistance, training and support to guide nonprofit and government agency affordable housing developments in obtaining funding from an array of federal, state and local competitive programs. He previously worked in project management for Mercy Housing and Zen Development Consultants.


Sustainable Housing & Operations
ANGEL RODRIGUEZ (LA Office)
Sustainable Housing Associate

Angel joins us to assist partner agencies and stakeholder groups in the implementation of sustainable housing and clean energy programs that increase renewable energy in low-income communities. He previously interned in with GRID Alternatives.

JACOB STAWICKI (SF Office)
Human Resources Associate

Jacob joins us to support internal human resources processes and procedures throughout the organization. They previously worked for Mercy Housing and GEO Reentry Services.


Research Team
YASMIN GIVENS (SF Office)
Research Analyst
Yasmin joins us to provide analytical support to advance key research, policy analysis, and program evaluation efforts. She previously interned with the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. Yasmin earned a B.A. in Sociology with a focus in Social Policy Analysis from Rice University.

MATT ALVAREZ-NISSEN (SF Office)
Senior Research Associate
Matt joins us to help oversee several projects including regional work with local governments and statewide academic/ research partners. He will also provide technical and research support for various other research and policy projects. He previously worked for Dyett & Bhatia. Matt earned a B.A. in Urban Studies and an M.A. in Public Policy from Stanford University.
RAY MCPHERSON (SF Office)
Research Associate
Ray joins us to work on affordable housing data visualization and preservation projects through data analysis, spatial analysis, and automation. They previously worked for Renewable Resources Group. Ray earned a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Wyoming. Ray earned an M.A. in Anthropology and a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Science from the University of Colorado, Denver.
