Please support
Merging Visions now.
Please put this "SAVE THE DATE!" on your calendar for the
2018 Merging Visions Exhibit, the result of the annual combined efforts of the Denton Poets Assembly and VAST.
Merging Vision Reception
Sunday, OCTOBER 21, 2018, 2 P.M. to 4 P.M.
Location: The Medical City Lewisville Grand Theatre,
100 North Charles Street, Lewisville
The reception for 2018
Merging Visions will be a fun and interactive event featuring our poets and artists in the beautiful arts and theater building of the City of Lewisville. We hope all of you will come and bring friends!
Due to the unusual timing and location of 2018
Merging Visions Exhibit* VAST's plea for sponsorships of the event was poorly timed for the summertime when VAST doesn't meet formally.
Our VAST part of the budget for 2018
Merging Visions is based upon VAST receiving $1200 in sponsorships for the event (this has been typically what VAST has received to support past Merging Visions exhibits). Thus far VAST has received $325 in Sponsorships and no members have requested to reserve a catalogs (or extra catalogs). VAST has a working deadline to raise funds of August 20, 2018.
Please consider helping our 2018
Merging Visions budget by making a sponsoring contribution or ordering your catalog[s] TODAY. You will find a Sponsorship Form
HERE.
At the bottom are directions to make payment using your credit card through PayPal (to do this you must have your own personal PayPal account). You can also bring the filled out form with payment to the Members' Exhibit Take In this Thursday.
Always appreciative of the member support for our activities,
Carol Rowley, VAST Treasurer 2018-2019

We meet the first Thursday at the Beulah Center at 7801 S-I35 E., Global Spheres in Corinth and the third Thursday at PAAC (Patterson-Appleton Arts Center.) The time is from 10 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the Beulah Center and 9:30 - 12:30 at the PAAC. We bring something to work on and/or to share with our VADO friends. It is not a teaching situation, but we all learn from each other!
The VADO fees for the new fiscal year, June through next May, are $55.
Please email me, Fran Shurtleff, at fmrws@centurytel.net to let me know if you wish to come to VADO in our coming year - or if you have any questions.
