You can help students of Verde Elementary in North Richmond
The Holidays are coming up. It's a great time to appreciate what we have  and s hare with those less fortunate.

For the past 18 years, we've sponsored  the Verde Elem entary Toy & Coat Drive. It's one of my favorite traditions. This ye ar, I hope you'll join me in supporting this effort, with a new twist.

Instead of toys, books will be provided to every student courtesy of West County READS. And instead of coats, every student will get a new polo shirt with a logo designed by the school. Also, we'll provide books to all the kids in Head Start at Verde and in the childcare center at the Las Deltas Housing Projects. Last year, you helped us give the students customized Hoodies (seen in the photo above).

Thanks to great work by parents, educators and students, Verde is a shining light in North Richmond. We are proud to support the success of these children, and we need your help again this year.

We need to raise $3,500 to cover 320 polos and books. Your tax deductible cash or check donation will help us reach this goal.
All donations must be received by Friday, December 9th.

Checks should be made payable to the non-profit Neighborhood House of North Richmond c/o 2016 Verde Polo Drive.

Donations and checks can be dropped off or mailed to my office,
