In the spirit of the holidays, we at TIA have joined “It’s My Bag!” -a nationwide movement of travel agents coming together and encouraging their communities to donate suitcases, travel bags, and duffel bags so that children in foster care can have their own bag to store and carry their belongings.
Because your nothing is their everything

When a child is in foster care the heartbreaking reality is that their belongings are usually held in garbage bags. This sends a very damaging message to these kids - that they are as disposable as their belongings. Let us change this! With your help we can replace these garbage bags with suitcases, so that every child in foster care can say “It’s My Bag!”
How can you help?
You can help by donating a new or nearly new suitcase, travel bag, or duffle bag.
As an option, you can enhance your gift by filling the bag with any of the following items:
*New linens including new twin bed sheets
*Towels and wash cloths
*Toiletries including shampoo, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, and feminine supplies
Drop off Location for TIA:
We want to thank our Program Director Noelia Gisbert for offering her office as a drop off location, and for her initiative to get TIA involved in this great cause.
