On behalf of the Saint Francis of Assisi Parish Family, we extend our deepest sympathy to the Birmingham family who have lost a son, brother, and uncle. We share your deep sorrow as the Church has lost a gifted leader, and a man of wisdom and deep compassion. Bishop Kevin was a source of pride for our parish family. For four years he was Father Kevin, Associate Pastor to us and his ministry became a gift to the entire Archdiocese of Chicago. The Church of Chicago has lost a true shepherd, a humble servant and a holy man. Rest in peace, Bishop, Father, Brother and Friend; Enter the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Funeral arrangements are as follows:

Visitation - Friday, Oct. 6th

11a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Church of Our Lady of the Ridge

 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Holy Name Cathedral 

Funeral Mass Saturday, Oct. 7th:

11 a.m. at Holy Name Cathedral.
