2024 Eastern PA FBINAA Chapter Re-Trainer

The Eastern PA Chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates will host its 2024 Annual Re-Trainer Conference from May 19-21, 2024

at the Penn Stater Hotel in State College, PA.


Those of you who have attended our annual re-trainers in the past know that it is highly attended event, and we are seeking to break that record with our great line-up of presenters. 


Registration is open and we are offering a very reasonable registration rate of $250.00 which includes a 5-11 brand jacket as a gift, dinner at the opening banquet on Sunday, breakfast and lunch on Monday, breakfast on Tuesday,

as well as nightly hospitality and information sharing.


Our vendors will also be present displaying their incredible products.


Registration is first come, first served, and spouses of NA graduates are included free of charge.

Our Presenters

Paul Butler


Paul Butler is an internationally renowned speaker who has trained and entertained audiences in Europe, Africa, South America, and all across North America. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a concentration in Culture and Communication, as well as an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. He excels in the areas of motivation, leadership, customer service, and attitude empowerment. 


During his 27 years of law enforcement, he has been a public servant, training officer, sergeant, crisis negotiator, chief of police, and chief deputy. These opportunities have given him a unique perspective on a vast array of situations and circumstances that many people find themselves in every day. These experiences have helped him to develop the answers to questions and cures to problems most people are facing at work and in life on a continual basis.


He believes the power of a positive attitude can take you to the top or help you simply find happiness and pride in the current role you fill. A healthy attitude is often the key to both personal and professional success – this has certainly been the key to Paul’s success. As Chief Deputy of the Horry County Sheriff’s Office, he was selected to attend the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia in 2005 for the 220th Session. He now serves as the official Master of Ceremonies for the FBI National Academy Associates and the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association during their annual training conferences. To increase his outreach, Paul Butler Presentations was formed and he has been traveling the globe speaking, instructing, and entertaining for all types of groups, organizations, and events. He is consistently one of the highest-rated presenters on the market today and comes with strong references and a list of past and future exciting events.

David Graham


David is a retired Lieutenant from the Dallas Police Departmentand has more than 40 years in law enforcement. Currently he is the Deputy Constable in Hays County, TX. He is an acclaimed instructor teaching professional development classes for law enforcement.


David will discuss the shooting of multiple Dallas Police Department officers as well as the assault on a Dallas Police Department headquarters.

Kris Paranto "Tanto"


Kris is former Army Ranger from 2nd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment and private security contractor who has deployed in South America, Central America, the Middle East, and North Africa. Kris was part of the CIA security team that responded to the terrorist attack on the US Special Mission in Benghazi, Libya, 9/11/2012


Dean Crisp


Dean is a 30-year veteran of law eenforcement and after retiring he became a fundamental instructor for FBI LEEDA and instrumental in creating LEEDA’s trilogy. Dean is a highly energetic motivational speaker on leadership and the importance of personal growth in all areas of one’s life. Dean is also a bestselling author.

Colonel Paris & Lt. Col. Bivens will both discuss the capture of escaped prisoner Danelo Cavalcante and how they dealt with the media and coordinating multiple agencies involved in his capture.
