We are so excited to resume our annual Restoration Rome Pastor’s Luncheon this fall and hope that you will join us on Tuesday, October 18th at 11:30am. Our time together over a buffet lunch will have two special goals.
First, our luncheon is being held as part of a national week-long effort to lift up child welfare workers. Our hope for Floyd County is that The Church will H.E.L.P. by Honoring, Encouraging, Loving, and Praying for the hard-working folks on the child and family welfare frontlines. Your presence and participation will speak volumes to them!
Second, Floyd County DFCS Director Lindsey Howerton will provide a brief update on our local child and family welfare situation. In response, we will share tangible and immediate ways that local congregations can engage and respond to meet the current needs in our community.
If you’re able to stick around after lunch and see the progress at Restoration Rome, we would love to provide you with a tour of the new Team One and Wellness Centers!
