Slate of Directors
In accordance with Chamber Bylaws, the Nominating Committee puts forth the following slate to serve a 3-year term on the Board of Directors beginning in January 2025 and expiring December 2027. This slate will be sent to the General Chamber Membership and if no petitions are filed, the Board of Directors will declare the slate official at the September meeting.

Nominating Committee Process

Nominating Committee
At the regular July Board meeting, the Chair of the Board shall appoint a Nominating Committee. The committee will be comprised of the current Chair of the Board who will serve as a non-voting member of the committee, the most recent past Chair of the Board who will serve as the Chair with voting rights; one additional past Chair, the Chair Elect, and two (2) members at large, one who serves on the current Board of Directors. All members of the committee must be current members of the Chamber. Prior to August 15th, the Nominating Committee shall present to the President & CEO, six (6) candidates to serve one (1) term lasting three (3) years to replace the directors whose regular terms are expiring. Each candidate must be an active member in good standing and must agree to accept the responsibilities of office.

Nominations by Petition
The right of petition is extended to other members who wish to seek nomination as a Director. The additional candidate(s) for Director may petition to have their names added to the ballot with signatures of at least ten (10) members with voting rights. (Article 2, Section B) Such petition shall be filed with the Nominating Committee no more than ten (10) days after the date of the official publication of the report of the Nominating Committee. The determination of the Nominating Committee as to the validity of the petition(s) filed shall be final. The deadline for petitions is September 12, 2024.
