Updates to IC Covid Protocols
April 15, 2022
Dear FPSers,

Our FPSPI Covid protocol was last updated on March 1st. Due to rapidly changing recommendations, the FPSPI Board of Trustees and the International Office staff analyzed the current situation. After extensive discussions, research of guidelines, surveying those registered, our Covid protocol is updated as of April 15, 2022. There are no changes to competitions, and all students still have access either on-site or virtually.

The below protocols are in place:
  • On-site attendees must be either be fully vaccinated OR provide proof of negative Covid PCR test taken (no more than) 72 hours prior to check-in in at IC. This must be uploaded on our Crowdpass platform.
  • On-site, we strongly recommend all participants mask indoors during all events as we are including participants from different locations and countries with variable levels of Covid-19 prevalence.
  • We will continue to monitor and align with local, state, and federal Covid19 regulations.
  • IC Protocols are subject to change in response to local, state, and federal guidelines up until and during the event.
  • We plan to provide KN95 masks to all on-site participants.
  • For those travelling internationally - Any non-US citizen non-immigrant 18 years and above must be vaccinated to enter the US. Those younger than 18 years will be subject to the same requirements as all other participants (proof of vaccination or testing prior to arrival and masking indoors on-site).

Please know that we wanted to provide this information ASAP, and will update all corresponding registration information on Monday, April 18th.

We welcome in-person participation and engagement in the Future Problem Solving community! Hosting a safe event is our top priority.

Much appreciation,
April Michele
