Dear Parents,
Welcome to a new school year. So far, this year has been great. Just a few reminders:
1. If you are new to Saint Andrew this year please make sure you have submitted the Health/Physical form to the nurses’ office. All forms must be received by 9-5.
2. If there are any new health concerns for your student please be sure to email me so I can be aware. For instance: food allergies, medications taken, asthma, migraines, and any other health concerns. It is important we have this information in case of emergency.
3. If your child has medication that he or she needs to take on a daily basis or an as needed basis while at school, a medication permit (a separate form for each medication) MUST be completed and signed by the parent AND the physician in order to keep the medication in the clinic. Students are NOT allowed to keep medications on their person during school. This includes over the counter medications like Tylenol and Motrin and allergy medications, sunscreen, etc.
I am looking forward to a great year and the opportunity to get to know you and your children.
Sincerely, Shannon Cruze, RN

2ND ANNUAL HOLIDAY HOMEMADE
CRAFT FAIR
|
|
We are bringing back one of the most popular "newer" booths at the SAS Fall Festival.
The Holiday Handmade Craft Fair.
In addition to local vendors selling amazing crafts to all festival attendees, Saint Andrew Catholic School will,
of course have its own booth space at the fair. All proceeds from our space go to the school. Last year you were all so generous with your donations to our booth we made a really big profit! We are once again 'calling all crafters'. We need donations for our booth.
If you, or someone in your family is a crafter, please think about donating some items we can sell. Here are some ideas, and some items that were popular last year:
Home Decor - wall hangings, picture frames, etc.
Tea Towel sets - with fun sayings
Christmas ornaments
Holiday wreaths
School spirited items (notebooks, pencil bags, etc)
Backyard game sets
Knitted scarves, beanies, etc.
You can drop off your donations in the front office and put attn: Tricia Cuprak, Mary Saffell, Megan O'Neil and/or Estella Garza. Please leave your name and email address with your donation.
If you want to coordinate a different drop off you can send a text to Megan O'Neil - 817.240.2034 and we can arrange a pick up.
Thank you all for your donated items. We love the idea of bringing back the craft fair and can't wait to see it grow bigger and bigger.

September 10th and September 24th from 6:00pm-9:00pm downstairs in the Parish Hall.

The Spiritual Life Committee at Saint Andrew Catholic School offers two blessed statues to its families: A statue of Rosa Mystica and an Immaculate Heart of Mary Statue. Each week (from Wednesday afternoon to the following Wednesday morning) two families will have the opportunity to take these statues home and use them as a source of inspiration, prayer and reflection. The tote bag containing the statue will also have suggested prayers. This special tradition will hopefully be one full of meaning and faith for each of you.
