Most of us are descended from forebears who immigrated to the U.S. from other countries. How have our immigration laws changed over the years? Who has been encouraged and who has been excluded? Which immigrants are provided a pathway to citizenship, and which are relegated to remain visitors or students only?
Join VIA our Immigration Leaders for an informativepresentation by Dr. Pablo Bose from UVM and Lecturer Maria Clara de Greiff from Dartmouth on Sunday, May 15th 3-5 PM to find out the answers to these and other questions. You will also gain a foundation of knowledge that will help you put our current laws in context, and provide you the opportunity to get involved with the campaign we are conducting through VIA's national network, Faith in Action, to reform our immigration system.
