Please register today for Legislative Action Day 2023, taking place online on Thursday, March 2nd, 9:30-11:30 a.m. This year’s Legislative Action Day (LAD) event will be sponsored by State Representative Jim O’Day.
For Legislative Action Day, look forward to hearing from inspiring speakers, learning how to advocate with legislators, and meeting virtually with your state legislators and legislative staff to talk about issues and policy recommendations to address homelessness in Massachusetts.
During the event, we will focus on the Coalition’s 2023-2024 legislative (bill) priorities and fiscal year 2024 budget priorities. Read about our bill priorities here: bill priority overview (PDF) and bill priority chart.
Sign up your organization or group to endorse our key homelessness and housing bills by completing the organizational endorsement forms in Column K of our bill priority chart or sharing the forms with your team.

Pre-Event Training
Join us on Monday, February 27th for a pre-event training to prepare for Legislative Action Day. Like LAD, the pre-event training also will take place on Zoom.
The training will include an overview of our Legislative Action Day agenda, helpful hints about meeting with legislators and their aides, a review and discussion of the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless budget and bill priorities, and a question and answer session.
