ALL Players will be asked to fill out Daily Health Form and Registration/Release Covid.
What is UTR? How do I sign up for these events?
⦁ UTR is a number between 1 and 16.5 that represents the ability of a player. This number is extremely accurate and is the #1 tool used by college tennis coaches in recruiting and evaluating talent.
⦁ Plex tournaments will be structured so that players will face other players of similar UTRs. This helps to minimize "blowouts" and provides more competitive matches for participating players than traditional tournaments. Players are encouraged to register even if they don't have a UTR. We at the Plex will still try to give these players the most competitive matches possible, and after competing, players will get a UTR based on their match performance.
⦁ Creating a UTR account is free and can be done at myutr.com/join. Once your account is created, our tournaments can be found Montgomery Tennisplex's "virtual club page" which can be accessed by this link: ⦁ myutr.com/clubs/9850, or by searching "Montgomery Tennisplex" in UTR. From this page you can see and register for our upcoming tournaments.
⦁ Players interested in playing multiple tournaments may be interested in a UTR power subscription, which gives $10 off all UTR events and access to additional site features for one year. Montgomery Tennisplex is offering these for $89 ($10 off!).
