Grand Forks County Trial Plot Tour

Thursday, July 27th @ 5:00pm beginning at the Corn/HRSW Trials.

Join us for a discussion with guest speakers about plot research, crop varieties, and seasonal updates.


Speakers include:

- Dr. Clair Keene, NDSU Extension Cereal Agronomist

- Dr. Anitha Chirumamilla, NDSU Extension Area Agronomist

- Dr. Andrew Friskop, NDSU Extension Plant Pathologist

- Dr. Andrew Green, NDSU Wheat Breeder

- Seed company representatives from soybean and grains trials


Supper and refreshments at Nelson Farm's Shop following the plot tour.

Entrees provided by Skip's Food Truck featuring smoked brisket sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, chicken and polish sausage + sides.

Nelson Farms is located 2 miles Northeast of the Thompson exit, on Columbia Road S/County Road 81.


To get to the plots from Nelson Farms, head east ½ mile on the gravel road.
