The holidays are once again upon us and the Alliance for Pioneer Square is putting together lots of ways to help shoppers, residents and visitors celebrate the season locally. We hope that this message will help you and your business prepare to engage in our holiday programming. This year, the Alliance will organize a series of in-person/online promotional activities to entice the community to support Pioneer Square and to help boost business activity in the neighborhood.

Passport Program: the Alliance introduced the Passport to Pioneer Square program in early November, with several holiday-specific “passport challenges” in December, including challenges on Free Parking Saturdays. [email protected].

Free Parking Saturdays: the Alliance is coordinating with the Butler Garage to provide free parking on three Saturdays during the holiday season- December 5th, December 12th, December 19th. Free parking is available on those dates with a dated proof of purchase from a Pioneer Square business.

LUSIO Lights Pioneer Square: the Alliance will partner with LUSIO to implement a series of public-facing light installations throughout the neighborhood in locations such as empty street-level storefronts and public spaces. The light art installation series will begin on December 1st, 2020 and run through January 2021.

Register for the Support Local - Pioneer Square Marketplace: Register your business for the Support Local- Pioneer Square Marketplace and begin adding your products/services to the Holiday Gift Guide. Learn more about the registration process and product management here.

Host our Passport Challenge passports and stamps: Email [email protected] to coordinate a time for an Alliance staff member to drop off passports and stamps.

Leverage communications: post inside our Facebook events to promote your business, share our social media content onto your business' page, and be sure to add your holiday events to both the Pioneer Square calendar and add us as a co-host on your Facebook event. We've also put together a media toolkit to promote the above activities.

Share with your networks: Help promote our holiday programming by telling a friend, neighbor, or family member about the holiday events happening in Pioneer Square. Our holiday landing page contains all the information visitors will need to know for festive fun in the neighborhood.
