EV Fleet Assessment Results Webinar 

April 23, 11am PDT /2pm EDT 


Earlier this year, Fraser Basin Council, through Plug In BC, partnered with FleetCarma to complete an electric vehicle adoption program with nine fleet operators in British Columbia.

The program involved data logging and predictive modeling to match fleet requirements with the capabilities and recommended uses of various electric vehicles.

This webinar will share the data gathered from the program and the lessons learned from working with these fleets.

Electric Vehicle Fair 
April 24, 5:30pm-9:30pm 
Telus World of Science, Vancouver 
In partnership with the Vancouver Electric Vehicle Association (VEVA), and in honor of Earth Week, BCSEA Vancouver is hosting a celebration of electric vehicles on Thursday, April 24th, 2014 from 5:30pm - 9:30pm at the TELUS World of Science, 1455 Quebec Street, Vancouver. 


The event will feature:

  • Electric vehicle test drives 
  • Electric vehicles, bicycles, motorcycles and scooters on display 
  • Display booths of electric vehicle manufacturers/dealers, parts & charging distributors and non-profit organizations affiliated with the sector
  • A panel of knowledgeable speakers, followed by a moderated question & answer period
  • Refreshments and food 
AJAC eco-Run  
May 8, 12pm-5pm
Vancouver Convention Centre
The Auto Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) is hosting their eco-Run on May 6-8, looping from Vancouver to Whistler. The event is to showcase fuel efficient vehicles and driving.

This year, they are including a consumer day on May 8, at the Vancouver Convention Centre, to share the fuel-efficient driving findings and techniques utilized by AJAC drivers on the three-day Eco-Run with the general public. The FREE public event will include:
  • Driving simulators  
  • Fuel-efficient driver trainers   
  • Closed-loop test drive   
  • Display vehicles & booths

Plug In BC is an initiative co-chaired by the BC Ministry of Energy and Mines and BC Hydro to lay the groundwork for plug-in electric vehicles and related electric charging infrastructure in British Columbia. Electric Mobility Canada Conference     
EMC's electric vehicle conference is accepting abstracts 

Electric Mobility Canada's annual conference is coming to Vancouver on October 28-30, and is accepting abstracts for presentations until May 4 2014.

The theme for this year's conference is ElectriCITIES - Move Electric.
