This is the first time Plugged In has ever hosted an online open mic so we've got a few guidelines we think will help make things run more smoothly.

• Performers must sign up by adding their name to the open mic signup sheet.
• Performers can sign anytime before the open mic or during it as long as slots remain.
• Performers are signing up based on order NOT on performance time.
• Performers must be ready to go when they're called. If they are not they will be moved to the end of the list.
• All attendees must "mute" themselves during performances.
• Attendees can communicate with everyone via the chat function in our Zoom room. 
• Performances are solo unless you have other musicians at your physical location. It is too tricky to have multiple performers from multiple locations play without additional technical support.
• Limit of 2 songs (this may change depending on how many performers participate).
• The end time of this open-mic is flexible. We will keep it going as long as we have performers or until 9:30p whichever comes first.

Performers can play songs, read poetry, tell us their favorite G-rated jokes. We encourage you to join us even if you don't want to perform! We hope to "see" you there.

Plugged In can help!

As Plugged In transitions to online band classes, private lessons, and performances we realize that some of our students may not have instruments at home. That's why Plugged In will lend an instrument to any current student until our physical space re-opens.

We will lend stripped down drum kits (kick drum, snare, cymbal), guitars, basses, and keyboards. We can also lend amps, tuners, and cables. Instruments will be lent on a first come first serve basis and will end when we run out of equipment. All instruments and equipment lent out must be returned before in person classes resume.
