OVPRI undergoes reorganization
The Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation has undergone a reorganization.
ORIS, formerly the Office of Research and Innovation Services, is now the Office of Research and Integrity Services. It is overseen by director Amy Taylor and supports pre- and post- grant awards and research integrity services (animal care, research ethics, and research safety). The new Office of Innovation, Partnerships and Entrepreneurship, under director Tom Schnekenburger, will continue the work of the former Office of Research Partnerships, engaging with community and industry partners and supporting technology transfer and entrepreneurship on our campus.
"These new names more clearly align with the services our offices provide," says Shanthi Johnson, Vice-president, Research and Innovation. "This reimagining reflects our strategic approach to the work we do for our campus community. As we continue to make strategic changes, we will keep our community informed."
