Meet your new Watershed Coordinator, Sierra Murray
Howdy! My name is Sierra Murray, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself as your new Watershed Coordinator! I joined the Plum Creek Watershed Partnership in January and am excited to continue the work of the partnership as well as bring new projects to the group.
As a Texas native, growing up I saw the importance of our natural resources - especially water. I attended Angelo State University where I earned my bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science & Leadership with a minor in Public Relations. While my path following graduation has taken many detours, it always led to an environmental role.
On the weekends, you might catch me kayaking on the San Marcos River or hiking a Texas State Park trail. I am truly passionate about our environment, and I look forward to working together to restore and protect water quality in the Plum Creek Watershed. Feel free to reach out to me for any watershed-related inquiries or just to say hello!
Ecologically,
Sierra Murray
