Sunday, December 28 - No Education Hour

There is no Chapel Class or Sunday School this Sunday. Education hour returns on Sunday, January 11 at 9 am, with an intergenerational series on anti-racism stories. We hope both kids and adults of all ages will join us for that in the new year!

Sunday, December 28 - Casual Worship

On this fourth day of Christmas, we will be having a more casual service with the singing of congregational carols and the sharing of some poems and a brief homily. Those attending are invited to wear a Christmas sweater as you are so led. Merry Christmas!

December 29, 30 - Boar's Head and Yule Log Festival

O Come, All Ye Faithful!

 

The 49th annual Boar's Head and Yule Log Festival is right around the corner! Please plan to join us for festival services on Monday, December 29th and Tuesday, December 30th at 5:30 pm and 8:00 pm each day.


As a church member you can get six tickets. Just see Roger Eversole or Kara Jaurigue to get your tickets, or call the Boar's Head hotline at 260-423-9424 ext. 325.

Wednesday, December 31 - No New Years Eve Wednesday Night Live

As this Wednesday is New Year's Eve, there will be no Wednesday Night Live. It will return on Wednesday, January 7. We'll enjoy Maria's wonderful meals, choir and bell rehearsals, Bible study and community in 2026. In the meantime, Happy New Year!

Thursday, January 8 - Plymouth + American Red Cross Blood Drive

"Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood."

We're hosting a a Blood Drive to help fill these critical needs, January 8, 2026, from 12-5 pm at Plymouth. Donors can also enter to win a trip for 2 to Super Bowl LX in California, courtesy of the Red Cross.

Thursday, January 18 - Plymouth Music Series: We Are the Dream

For over three decades, Plymouth Congregational Church has presented a commemoration of the life and legacy of Dr. King in word and song. This dramatic presentation features speakers from the community and musicians from Heartland Sings and participating churches. 

This event will take place at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1331 Gay Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46803. Join in this important commemoration of justice and truth.

General Announcements

Adult Nursery Volunteers Needed

Plymouth is looking for a few more adult volunteers to assist in the nursery on Sunday mornings, starting in the new year. Volunteers are scheduled to assist no more than once a month and are needed during the Sunday morning worship hour. If you would like to help out, please see Rev. Ofner-Seals or email her at smo@plymouthfw.org.

Safety Attendants

The Safety Committee is looking for a few good folks to serve as Safety attendants periodically during worship services. An attendant will greet late comers in the Narthex during worship, be responsible for communicating with the office in the event of a medical emergency or natural disaster, aid in fire and tornado drills, and more. If you would like to assist in this endeavor, please sign up at the following link.

Open Prayer in the Sanctuary

For a time of personal prayer, the sanctuary will be available Tuesday through Thursday during office hours. Please enter through the Berry Street office entrance and check in with our receptionist. Contact Jake Slone at (260) 423-9424 or jss@plymouthfw.org with any questions.
