Sunday, March 29 - Watershed Discipleship - In This Place

We live among multiple watersheds and four rivers. Come practice Watershed Discipleship by learning more about this bio region, particularly the ecologic significance of Little River and Eagle Marsh. Find out ways to deepen love of where we live through Little River Wetlands Project (LRWP). Join us as Paul McAfee, founder and board president, shares the knowledge and caring work of LRWP and Rev. Murphy summarizes Watershed Discipleship.

Chapel Class is open to all adults at 9:00 am every Sunday, in person or on zoom. The password for zoom is 247302.

Sunday, March 29 - Lenten Reflection from the Green Team

Sunday, March 29 - Data Center Action Alert

The Green Team invites you to write a public comment and request a public hearing by April 3rd regarding the destruction of a forested stream on the Google Data Center Campus.

On March 13, 2026, the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) released a public notice regarding Google’s latest expansion request for their data center campus in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Phase III of Google’s Project Zodiac seeks to add three additional buildings in addition to other infrastructure.

To make room for the buildings, Google intends to destroy and permanently impact local waterways like Adams Ditch and long-standing, naturally occurring, biodiverse wetlands.

Let IDEM know that this is unacceptable, and urge them to deny this request from Google. We must act fast to preserve the waterways that give life to our local ecosystems. This is watershed discipleship in action!

Upcoming Events

Sunday, April 19 - Casa de Plymouth Youth Lunch and Anti-Racism Activity

Do you like food? Do you support anti-racism? Then guess what? We have the perfect event for you!

The Plymouth Youth Group will be preparing a fundraiser luncheon after worship on Sunday, April 19, in which they will serve spaghetti & meatballs, salad, and a cookie. The cost is $5. Following the lunch, the Anti-Racism Team will lead attendees through an interactive board game called “The Disparity Trap” to highlight how racism grants resources and power to some people and takes it away from others. All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The luncheon and game with discussion will last no more than 90 minutes. There is a sign-up sheet in the Folsom Room. Please indicate if you will be staying for the lunch, activity, or both!

Saturday, May 16 - Just Neighbors Benefit Golf Outing

On Saturday, May 16, 2026, Just Neighbors supporters are hosting a benefit golf outing at Colonial Oaks Golf Course to support the organization's mission.

It’s going to be a fantastic day of fellowship, fresh air, and fun — all for a great cause. We are aiming for a record turnout to support our neighbors in need, and we would love your help in spreading the word!

We are so grateful for our partners who find creative ways to give back. Thank you for helping us make this event a "hole-in-one" for our community!

With gratitude,

Jessica Bleill

As we journey through the season of Lent, we invite you to visit the church library’s book table featuring titles that reflect on themes of reflection, repentance, justice, and renewal. These books offer thoughtful perspectives to accompany your Lenten practice and deepen your spiritual journey. We hope you will find something that encourages reflection during this sacred season. Books there include: Henri's Mantle: 100 Meditations on Nouwen's Legacy; Sitting Still: an Encounter with Christian Zen, by Patricia Hart Clifford; Church of the Wild, by Victoria Loorz; and Out of Solitude by Henri J.M. Nouwen. These and other books are available for you to check out.

Adult Nursery Volunteers Needed

Plymouth is looking for a few more adult volunteers to assist in the nursery on Sunday mornings, starting in the new year. Volunteers are scheduled to assist no more than once a month and are needed during the Sunday morning worship hour. If you would like to help out, please see Rev. Ofner-Seals or email her at smo@plymouthfw.org.

Safety Attendants

The Safety Committee is looking for a few good folks to serve as Safety attendants periodically during worship services. An attendant will greet late comers in the Narthex during worship, be responsible for communicating with the office in the event of a medical emergency or natural disaster, aid in fire and tornado drills, and more. If you would like to assist in this endeavor, please sign up at the following link.
