Join Plymouth's resident storyteller Allen Haynes for a session on the basics of storytelling. Allen will offer a brief lesson on how to construct a story, then participants will be invited to put together a story from their own life experience. We all have stories to tell, and they are more interesting than we think!
Chapel Class is open to all adults at 9:00 am every Sunday, in person or on zoom. The password for zoom is 247302.
| | | | Sunday, November 23 - Full and Fun in Folsom | | |

The youth group will be selling their infamous baked goods.
Pepper Jelly will be available for purchase.
If you preordered a wreath, it will be waiting in the Folsom Room.
See you then.
| | | | Sunday, November 23 - Hanging of the Greens | | |
| | Join us for the Hanging of the Greens after church on Sunday, November 23! After service we'll decorate the sanctuary, Folsom Room, and other areas for the Advent season and Christmas. Pizza will be provided! | | | | Sunday, November 23 - Special Offering: Positive Resource Connection | |
The mission of the Northeast Indiana Positive Resource Connection is to prevent new cases of HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis, and STDs and advance a compassionate and stigma-free community response.
PRC's in-house Gregory L. Manifold Food Pantry is designed to provide a stop gap shopping opportunity for HIV+ clients to self-select basic yet critical food and toiletries that they might otherwise go without each month. It always stocks high protein foods including frozen beef, chicken, and pork plus easy to prepare boxed/canned/frozen foods. It also tries to stock basic need items like toothpaste, soap, toilet paper, laundry soap, etc. The need for food assistance has ballooned in the last two years and again this year, with the pantry budget going from $24,000 in 2024 to $48,000 in 2025 and already surpassing that amount.
Good and consistent nutrition is essential in sustaining good health especially when challenged with a life-life chronic disease like HIV. The Gregory L. Manifold is a vital component in our client's overall health and longevity.
| Tuesday, November 25 - Interfaith Thanksgiving Service | | |
| | |
Let's join together and celebrate our "Community of Communities." On Tuesday, November 25 at 7:00 pm Congregation Acduth Vesholom will host a dozen other congregations for an Interfaith Thanksgiving Service at 5200 Old Mill Road, Fort Wayne. This opportunity to come together in fellowship honors our community, our various traditions, and our thanks for each other.
A reception will immediately follow, and freewill donations will support Alive Community Outreach.
| | | | Wednesday, November 26 - No WNL | There will be no Wednesday Night Live this week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. WNL activities will resume next week. | Thursday, November 27 - Thanksgiving Day Service and Meal | | |
This year we continue the tradition of a Thanksgiving Day devotional service and meal. The service will be held at 11:30am in the chapel, followed by a full Thanksgiving meal with all the fixings at noon. Turkey will be provided by the church, and guests are invited to bring a side to share. Please sign up in the Folsom room if you plan to attend. | | | | Wednesday, December 3 - Luminous Night Service | Join us at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 4 for our annual Luminous Night Service. This is a service for those who may be grieving or feeling lonely or sad during the holiday season. It is a quiet, contemplative service with readings of scripture and poetry, along with reflective music and a chance to light candles in honor of loved ones lost. It is also a time to reflect on our hopes for the year ahead and center ourselves in God’s abiding presence during all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. All are welcome to attend this service of lament and promise. | Friday, December 5 - City of Churches Tour
| | We are once again participating in Fort Wayne's City of Churches Tour. We are looking for 2-3 volunteers to help welcome guests as they come to view the sanctuary. Volunteer shifts are from 4-6 pm and 6-8 pm. If you would like to volunteer, please email Rev. Ofner-Seals at smo@plymouthfw.org. | | | | Sunday, December 7 - Las Posadas Procession | |
Plymouth children and families are invited to our fourth Las Posadas celebration on Sunday, December 7. This is a Mexican Christian tradition, focusing on the Holy Family seeking shelter, being denied initially, and finally being welcomed. Participants will process throughout the building and sing the Las Posadas song in English, which will conclude with a celebration in the Folsom Room with refreshments. All ages are invited to experience this event, which will happen immediately after worship.
Note: while participants will be inside for the vast majority of the time, there will be one section that will involve being briefly outside, so warm coats are encouraged.
| Tuesday, December 9 - Make the Yuletide Gay | | |
| | |
It's your newest holiday tradition! Don your gay apparel and cozy up next to three award-winning songwriters for a night of holiday classics, original music, storytelling, comfort, and joy on Tuesday, December 9, 7 pm at Plymouth. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
2025 International Folk Music Artist of the Year award winner Crys Matthews is joined by genre-defying artist/activist Heather Mae and shame-slaying singer-songwriter drag queen Flamy Grant for a winter show like no other. We're making merry and celebrating the resilience of the LGBTQ+ community in a time when so many are trying to silence their voices. Don't miss this night of feel-good, uplifting, soul-filling music as we Make the Yuletide Gay.
Tickets are $12.50 and can be purchased at the link below, or at the door. For those needing assistance with the cost of the ticket, please email Rev. Sara Ofner-Seals at smo@plymouthfw.org.

The Safety Committee is looking for a few good folks to serve as Safety attendants periodically during worship services. An attendant will greet late comers in the Narthex during worship, be responsible for communicating with the office in the event of a medical emergency or natural disaster, aid in fire and tornado drills, and more. If you would like to assist in this endeavor, please sign up at the following link. | | | | Open Prayer in the Sanctuary
For a time of personal prayer, the sanctuary will be available Tuesday through Thursday during office hours. Please enter through the Berry Street office entrance and check in with our receptionist. Contact Jake Slone at (260) 423-9424 or jss@plymouthfw.org with any questions.
