"Youth and elders, urban and rural, Democrat and Republican, there’s one thing on which we can agree: It’s wrong to wreck the world. The question that we need is, ”What does the Earth ask of us?” How can we give back in return for everything we’ve been given, and for everything we’ve taken?
With Plant, Baby, Plant, we will counter the forces of destruction with creative resistance in support of life. For generations, Indigenous communities, grassroots organizers, gardeners, scientists, artists, civil servants, foresters, food advocates, and others have championed the work of healing land and restoring our relationship with the Earth." - Robin Wall Kimmerer
-
What: a "bring-your-own-sack-lunch & 'Plant, Baby, Plant' discussion"
-
When: Sunday, October 26, after the Annual Election Meeting
-
Where: at Plymouth, in the Folsom Room
-
Please read through the short plantbabyplant.com website, including the 'voices from the movement" section towards bottom, and be ready to share some thoughts and your own stories
-
Feel free to invite anyone who might be interested

This year’s Just Dinner will honor the history of Just Neighbors, celebrate the courage of the families they serve, and look toward a future where no family in Fort Wayne has to face homelessness alone.

| | | | Tuesday, November 18 - Women's Book Study: The Tobacco Wives | | |
| | |
The book choice for Plymouth's Women's Book Study's last meeting of 2025 is The Tobacco Wives by Adele Myers. The story follows a young seamstress in a North Carolina tobacco town of the 1940's. As she sews for the finest women there, she is challenged by finding out what tobacco is doing to the community.
Our discussion will take place Tuesday, November 18 at 11:15 am in the Amistad Room - note the new time! Any self-identifying woman is welcome to join us on a drop-in basis or for a longer time.
| | | | Saturday, November 22 - Non-Cooperation Training | | |
