Sunday, July 24: Parish Nurse Program
The Parish Nurses will be available in the Folsom Room before worship on Sunday, July 24 for a variety of healthcare resources and support. Supported by Marion Health, the Parish Nurse Program "provides registered nurses who are committed and called to help the congregation stay well and improve the overall health and healing ministry of individual faith communities." Please note the Parish Nurse Program does not provide prescriptions or diagnostics.

If you would like to learn more about this program and how to volunteer (including non-medical volunteer opportunities), please contact Erin Shaw at [email protected] or 260-224-0860. Click the button below to learn more about the Marion Health Parish Nurse Program.
Sunday, July 24: Sign a Postcard for Reproductive Rights
Last Sunday we filled out over one hundred postcards to send to our Indiana legislators to advocate for abortion rights in Indiana. If you weren’t here last Sunday, you can still participate! We will have postcards available to fill out and sign in the Folsom room after worship on Sunday, July 24. Be sure to make your voice heard!
Monday, July 25: Tapping Into Faith
Our monthly Tapping Into Faith pub theology get-together will be this Monday, July 25 at 7:30 pm at Mad Anthony Brewing! It’s a great opportunity to get to know your Plymouth family a little better, and sometimes neighbors from the community as well.

Feel free to bring a friend if you like – the more the merrier!

E&M will provide appetizers to share, and you are welcome to order food and drink for yourself. Open to the public.
Saturday, July 30: School Supply Drive
On Saturday, July 30, E&M will have a supply drive to support the backpack program at the Wayne Township Trustee Office. Any family can request a backpack for their student(s), fully stocked with the required supplies for their grade level.

Based on their current stocks, the program coordinator provided the following list of needs:

  • Most needed items: Backpacks, Kleenex, Notecards, Hand Sanitizer, 3 Ring Binders, Pencil Pouches, 2-Pocket Folders, 1-Subject Notebooks, Loose Leaf Paper
  • Also needed items: Pens & Pencils, Colored Pencils, Crayons, Markers, Erasers, Glue Sticks, Composition Notebooks, Highlighters, Scissors, Lunch Boxes

We suggest focusing on most-needed items and then throwing in some crayons or what have you as a fun bonus if you just can’t resist fresh school supplies – but follow your bliss, because every little bit helps!

We will collect donations on Saturday, July 30, 9:00 am – 11:00 am, outside the Folsom Room. If you’d like to leave donations in the Supply Drive bin in the Folsom Room before that date, that’s fine too!
Upcoming Events
Sunday, August 14: Poplar Village Gardens Tour and Work Day
Plymouth’s families with kids are gathering once a month this summer to socialize, serve, and explore our community! If there are babies, kids, teens, or graduates in your home, please join us!

Our final gathering of the summer is at the Poplar Village Gardens on Sunday, August 14, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. We’ll tour this urban garden, learn about the ways they are bringing green space and food to their neighborhood, and help harvest veggies to distribute to local food pantries.

Poplar Village Gardens are located near Broadway, just short of Georges Market. Parking is available in the nearby neighborhood, around the corner of Miner and Walnut streets.
General Announcements
COVID-19 Protocols: Masking Strongly Encouraged
While masks remain optional in worship, we strongly encourage wearing them whenever possible. A high-quality mask provides good protection against infection even if others around you are not wearing one. We will continue to offer livestreamed and recorded worship services if you find yourself at risk of being around groups or otherwise unable to attend services in person.
