Give yourself grace for all that you have not accomplished, and rather than beat yourself up for not attaining all your goals I challenge you to focus on being better than you were yesterday! Whether you aim to improve your personal or professional life, your health and overall wellbeing—you now have another 365 days around the sun to work on yourself. 2022 Women In Business Scholarship!
The Pocono Chamber Women in Business Scholarship recognizes Monroe County female professionals who have demonstrated their dedication to empowering the leaders of our community and their commitment to bettering our community. The scholarship assists women in their pursuit of continuing their education and their desire to assist other women in reaching their full leadership potential after they finish continuing their education.
The WIB Council has created 2 scholarship opportunities this year for Monroe County’s female leaders; one for a high school student in the pursuit of higher education and one for a Monroe County professional continuing their education. A full outline of general criteria and application instructions can be found on the Pocono Chamber's official website here. Deadline for 2022 applications: June 1, 2022!

We are seeking speakers for our bi-monthly Coffee and Commerce presentation virtual breakfast series where Pocono Chamber of Commerce members and prospective members of all levels of leadership gather to learn about how to keep their business healthy and thriving. Topics will include, Marketing, Human Resources, Navigating Insurance Health and Wellness, Social Media Presence, Work/Life Balance, Lifestyle Tips. Coffee and Commerce occurs bi-monthly on the fourth Thursday of each respective month. 2022 Dates: February 24th, April 28th, June 23rd, August 25th, October 27th, and December 15th

Speaker Benefits: Up to 45-minute presentation on your business/service (including Q&A). • Recognition as speaker on all marketing materials and social media • Opportunity to place marketing materials at each place setting or distribute e-material to attendees • Opportunity to give out branded products/giveaways to attendees, offer giveaways at virtual event • Unlimited registrations for your guests to attend the breakfast

Show Your Support: Pocono Rail Service Restoration

Amtrak and the Pennsylvania Northeast Regional Railroad Authority have plans to restore passenger rail service between New York City and Scranton, with the proposed new Amtrak corridor providing easy access to the Poconos for train travelers. Show your support of the initiative by signing the petition below from the Scranton Rail Restoration Coalition. You can also watch Pocono Television Network's special report from the recent press conference at Stroudsmoor Country Inn sharing more details about the project.
POCONO CHAMBER CURRENTLY SEEKING INTERNS!

Students pursuing a college degree can sharpen their skills and build their resumes though an internship with the Pocono Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber is currently looking for three to four students majoring or minoring in marketing, communications, public relations or business administration. The interns will work out of the Stroudsburg Chamber Office doing a variety of tasks. Interns have the opportunity to work from home/remotely while completing projects and required hours.
