It's September and there are lots of special days, such as International Literacy Day, Roald Dahl Day, World Peace Day and the International Day of Charity. We hope you enjoy the activities that we've selected for you and your learners this month.
Poems can help us improve pronunciation and think about different topics. This September, why not listen to some poems about school?
New school,
New boy and
Going to school ... which one do your learners like best?
And for the International Day of Charity on 5 September, listen to
Neighbourhood to get some ideas about helping the people around you!
International Literacy Day is on 8 September. Check out our
Speak and spell section, which helps young children learn how to say and spell English words.
Roald Dahl is one of the best-known British children's authors. Find out all about his exciting life in this
video! Kids can read a review of one of his books and practise writing their own
book review.
Get your learners writing in English with our
Your turn section. There are over 60 topics to choose from! How about starting with
Helping others,
School,
Alphabet or
World Peace Day, which is observed on 21 September.
