In Memoriam: JuanRaymon Rubio, Assoc. AIA

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our esteemed AIA Austin Associate member, JuanRaymon Rubio. JuanRaymon was an integral part of AIA Austin, contributing significantly through his participation in the 2023 Leadership Collective class and his active involvement in the Latinos in Architecture committee. His dedication extended to the arts community, where he co-created the 'Riot' installation for the 2023 Creek Show, a memorial piece reflecting on the Battle of Waller Creek and the destruction of Austin’s natural landscape. His passion, creativity, and commitment to advocacy have left an indelible mark on our organization and the broader Austin community. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. You may find more details on JuanRaymon’s life, and details on services, here.
