Just in case you have missed the March Hound Madness at Southland our Arkansas athletes have been putting on quite a show for the nation to see.   A starting field of 64 began their quest as the best. Greyhounds represented 4 regions...West, Mid West, East Region and South Region. Each greyhound in their region was ranked and the fun began nearly 2 weeks ago. It is now down to the elite eight competition in 4 races. Each region will face off in a two dog race that will provide the Furry Four finalists leading to a two dog Face off.

The leading favorite is Bussmann Balakas kennels Boc's Tony Romo. He won huge his last race by 12 romping in the fastest 31.74 for trainer David O'keefe. Romo faces off with Magic City star Lagro CC Nance trained by Javier Agudeli in the next round.
