District First Aid Meet Recap
The Constellation District has a new First Aid Meet Champion. For the first time in the event's 6+ decade history, the name being engraved on the Charles Pennypacker Trophy will belong to a girl-troop! Citizenship in Society Merit Badge
Citizenship in Society is Scouting's newest Merit Badge, and it will be required of Eagle Scouts as of July 1, 2022. The new merit badge encourages Scouts to explore important topics around diversity, equity, inclusion and ethical leadership and learn why these qualities are important in society and in Scouting.
To help our District's Scouts who will soon need this badge, if you are interested in becoming a Counselor for this Merit Badge, you will need to be a registered Scouter and compete a badge-specific training program (either on-line or in-person). Please contact either the District's Merit Badge Dean Frank Prohaska or Service Area 2 Team Lead Ryan Martin for additional information.
