Top Fundraisers
Congratulations to Chief James Ramer of the Toronto Police Service for being this year's top fundraiser, having raised $48,267, and to Ryan MacBean who raised $12,235 and is the top Special Olympics athlete fundraiser!
Most Creative Plunge
A big congratulations goes out to the Waterloo Regional Police Service whose plunge video (featuring many of their officers - including Chief Brian Larkin - cooling off in a freezing pool) has been named this year's Most Creative Plunge!
And now for the grand total...
This year's Polar Plunge raised $346,849 for Special Olympics Ontario!
Including over $120,000 raised through 3 in-person plunges
and with more donations coming through!
These funds will go directly to supporting sport programs and competition within communities across Ontario! As in-person training and events resume, the impact of your fundraising efforts will be felt by over 26,000 athletes!
