September 3, 2020
Dear Chamber Members,

Today, Governor Whitmer announced the long overdue reopening of Michigan's gyms and fitness centers, effective September 9, 2020, with significant restrictions in place. This marks the first time in nearly six months these facilities have been allowed to open to the public. You can read the full Executive Order 2020-176 here.

Thank you to our elected officials, community leaders and members who have joined the Bay Area and Saginaw County Chambers of Commerce in actively advocating for these measures for several months.

While today is an important step in Michigan's reopening, the exclusion of our local theaters and bowling centers in this order means we must all continue to advocate on their behalf in the days and weeks to come.

If you need to reach us, please feel free to call.

Sincerely,
Ryan Tarrant, President/CEO
