Throughout BC, governments are celebrating the work of Chambers of Commerce during Chamber Week February 20 to 24.
"We are proud of our ongoing work as the voice of business in Greater Victoria, ensuring we are part of government decision-making," said Chamber CEO, Catherine Holt.
"BC's chambers of commerce play an invaluable role, offering support, economic development, and advocacy for small businesses," said BC Premier Christie Clark.
"For over 150 years, the Greater Victoria Chamber has kept on top of issues affecting local businesses, working with all levels of government to drive these insights into tangible action," said Chamber Chair Al Hasham. "Whether acting as non-partisan advocates on hot-button topics, or providing tailored resources to help our members reach that next level, we get business done."
