Pearl of a fund keeps mother's legacy alive |
Pearl Leeper Korman grew up in Akron during the Great Depression, leaving college to help her struggling family. Despite a chronic medical condition, she took a full-time job, sacrificing again and again to ensure an enriching life for her daughter, Sandy Auburn. Now, Sandy and her husband have created an enduring way to say thank you.
