We sadly report the recent passing of Professor Ramon H. Reeberg, who taught music at LaGuardia for 18 years (1991-2009) and was beloved by all.

Professor Reeberg's memorial service will be streamed live on Thursday, June 25th.
CITYWIDE GRADUATION
On Monday, June 30th there will be a citywide graduation ceremony for the class of 2020, streamed live across social media and broadcast on PIX 11.

LaGuardia's own Ruby Garcia, Class of 2020, designed the Citywide Senior logo that many high school student governments/schools -- including LaGuardia -- have adopted for their school. Shirts and sweatshirts are on sale, and proceeds raised will go to NYC Health and Hospitals .   Click here to order.
LaGuardia will be facing drastic budget cuts next school year. Please consider a tax deductible contribution to Alumni & Friends to support the arts education at LaGuardia. Your gifts will help provide:
  • equipment and supplies for each of LaGuardia’s six studio departments – art, dance, drama, instrumental music, technical theater, and vocal music

  • accompanists for the dance, drama, and music departments, and master classes taught by industry professionals

  • art supplies and live models for the art department

  • instrument repair and tuning over 40 pianos in the school

  • annual awards to over 200 students – many in honor of specific classes, esteemed alumni, & beloved teachers

  • scholarships for students with financial need to attend summer arts programs and receive private lessons

  • emergency funding for students with financial need to cover senior dues

  • and so much more!
