February 2022 Aquatic Professional of the Month - Kirsten Barnes
 
Starting at the age of one, Kirsten’s school teacher parents ran the local swimming pool – a monster competitive pool with 3M board and a rocking juke box. By the age of five she was on the swim team, and by the age of eight she was acting as the “victim” for lifeguard classes. She taught her first swim lesson at the age of 12, started lifeguarding at 16, and took her first full-time aquatics job at the age of 23 overseeing seven pools and about one hundred qualified staff. Read More
