Pool Update
Dear MLSTC Members,

Thank you for your patience during this process! We are excited to announce that our pool reservation system will open on Sunday, May 31st at 8:00am !! Please see below for details.

Reservation System

  • Reservation Instructions can be found HERE. Please read through these rules and instructions!

  • The POOL Reservation system will be the same as the TENNIS Reservation system. If you have signed up for tennis in the past, you will use the same log-in. If you have not used this system, you will need to create a log-in. All of this can be done HERE.

  • Please watch this step-by-step VIDEO with our Board President, John Brannock!

  • When you log in, you will click on the DATE you want to reserve and you will see MAIN POOL as an option.

  • Reservations for pool times can be made 7 days in advance. There are 140 reservation slots in each time block. Please note that you can only sign up for 1 pool slot, every other day. For example, if you sign up for a Tuesday slot, the next day you can sign up again, is Thursday. Please be respectful of this rule!

  • There are 60 walk-ins available each day which will be updated in real time on the MLSTC website. This is in addition to the reservations.

  • If parents sign up for a pool slot with their kids, please do not also sign up a babysitter. In that situation, the babysitter would be considered a guest and we aren't allowing guests at the moment, due to the 200-person limit. If there are extenuating circumstances, please email MLSTC.

  • Due to this reservation system, it will be a little slower to check-in to the pool, please have patience with our front desk workers as they now have many duties that are new to them. Thank you!!

Sanitation Update

  • Due to a nationwide shortage of cleaning wipes, we will not be able to provide any wipes at this time. Instead, SwimSafe will be conducting spray cleanings of all surfaces and seating areas every morning, during all mid-day breaks, and every evening. If you would like your seating area cleaned at any other time, please find a manager and he/she will clean the seats for you. There will be hand sanitizing stations throughout the club. You are also more than welcome to bring your own cleaning wipes if you would prefer.

Killer Whale Swim and Dive Team

  • Killer Whale Swim and Dive Team is FULL!!! THANK YOU for the overwhelming response this year.

Swim Lesson Info

  • Private Lessons are a GO!! For more information on private lessons or to sign up, please see the "guard station" at the pool.

  • Group Lessons will be rolled out over the next few weeks. Please be patient as we figure out the best way to navigate these lessons for all.

Tennis Info

  • Jonathan is excited to announce that he will be offering Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Junior Classes for kids (ages 8 and up).

  • For adults, he will offer drill, cardio, fast hit, and running doubles for both men and women!

  • ALL classes will begin the week of June 8th and will be following the United States Tennis Association guidelines for playing tennis safely during Covid-19.

  • Specialized classes or lesson requests should be emailed directly to Jonathan Hart at [email protected]

  • General sign-ups and class schedules coming soon!!!!

  • As of right now, no one under the age of 8 is included in any programming.

  • Pickleball - We had hired a company to paint pickleball lines on the tennis courts this spring. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, he was unable to complete this project. We are back on the list, but this project (similar to most of our projects), will probably not be completed until the fall. We are sad about this, but look forward to adding this in the near future! Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Water Aerobics

  • We hope to start Water Aerobics mid-June as things progress!!

Senior/Immunocompromised Hours

  • We are working on rolling out special hours for our Senior and Immunocompromised members. If you fall into one of these two groups, please send us an email and let us know! If you have already emailed, no need to send another one. Thank you!

Any questions can be sent to [email protected] . Thanks for all your continued support and patience!

COVID-19 is a worldwide pandemic that can result in severe illness and death. While we will implement rigorous sanitation procedures and are asking all members to adhere to our social distancing guidelines, Mount Lookout Swim and Tennis Club cannot eliminate the risk entirely. Many people infected with COVID-19 do not show any symptoms. Therefore, any member who visits the swim club in 2020, assumes the risk of exposure to COVID-19. If you are not comfortable with this risk, we suggest you change your membership status to INACTIVE for the 2020 season.
