The Texas Department of State Health Services has regulations in place to keep pools safe?
While you may not agree, no one under the age of 14 may be in the pool without an adult. See §265.201 for detailed information on the State of Texas signage requirements. These requirements are posted within our pool area.
Our pool amenity rules (#2) also state that no guests may be in our pool without a resident 18+. The resident adult needs to badge in. If a minor badges in, we take that as the person over 18 is not a resident, but a guest.
Simply put - if you are between the ages of 14-17, you may not have guests at our community pool. You will be required to have a resident 18+ to badge in. Should you disregard these rules, your household access will be removed by the Board of Directors.
If more than one 14-17 year old residents are going to the pool together, each one should badge in for clarification.
Read the pool rules carefully. Your access can be removed for disregarding any of them.
Thank you to all who are not allowing piggybacking. While it can be difficult to say no, you do not know who you are allowing in. Please do not be responsible for these unknown persons.
